Welcome to www.PennineChimes.com!

Pennine Chimes are Bradford’s only Ladies Barbershop Chorus, representing Bradford and West Yorkshire on a national level at the annual LABBS Convention. LABBS is the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers, which was established in 1976 and is the only purely-British organisation for female barbershop singers.

There’s 26 singers in the chorus at present, and we are always looking to recruit new ladies with an ear for harmony. Established in 1982, Pennine Chimes have been singing together for over 30 years now, and we still retain one original member! We sing a varied repertoire which ranges from more classic barbershop numbers to show tunes, pop and rock music – as well as festive favourites. As well as being a nationally competing chorus, we’re one big family, our motto has always been ‘Come for the singing, stay for the friendship’!

Between our members we have over 100 years of barbershop experience, and our Director Kim Webb was born into a barbershop family, and has passed it down to her daughter Beth and beyond; Barbershop singing is well and truly in her blood!

Hopefully you will be able to find whatever you need here, whether you want to join, us, book us, see us or just find out more; feel free to use the contact us form if you want to get in touch.
