Pennine Chimes are Bradford’s only Ladies Barbershop Chorus, representing Bradford and West Yorkshire on a national level at the annual LABBS Convention. LABBS is the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers, which was established in 1976 and is the only purely-British organisation for female barbershop singers.

We’re a small chorus of around 23 at present, but we pack a mighty punch! Established in 1982, Pennine Chimes have been singing together for over 30 years and we still retain an original member! We sing a varied repertoire which ranges from more classic barbershop numbers to show tunes, pop and rock music – as well as festive favourites. We’ve got something for everyone! As well as being a competitive chorus, we’re a friendly bunch and have always said we ‘Come for the singing & stay for the friendship’

Between our members we have over 100 years of barbershop experience, and we’ve got a great foundation in our Director Kim Webb, and AD Beth Connolly

We hope you’re able to find whatever you need here, whether you want to join us, book us, see us or just find out more; feel free to use the contact us form if you want to get in touch.
